Scot Alessi is an in international visual artist primarily focusing on video and photography. A graduate in film from the University of
Western Ontario, Scot began his pursuit of visual arts at the early age of nine where he developed an interest in painting and short
filmmaking after receiving his first camera as a gift from his parents.
Scot has worked collaboratively with artists’, architects and musicians creating unique and visually stimulating mixed-media
content to assist them in the promotion and accompaniment of these projects. Most valuably, Scot's thoughtful approach to each project provides the artist with a valuable point of differentiation that is
as individual as the artists themselves are. The concept of community
is central to all of Scot's projects and he believes that the process
of artistic creation is a deeply spiritual and philosophical
experience, where the open exchange of ideas and methodology is the
only sustainable path to personal growth and knowledge.
